Madelyn LeClaire

Hey, guys! My name is Madelyn LeClaire, but you can call me Maddy. I am 21 years old, and I am currently a senior at Austin Peay State University. I am a resident of Clarksville, TN, and I live with my husband, Troy, and our pup, Luna. I am a book lover and collector… seriously, soon I will need another bookshelf! 🙂

I grew up in a Christian home, and I was at church any time the doors were open. I loved the Lord and was saved when I was 7. Having a perfectionist personality…(hello, any enneagram 1w2s in the house?)… I always felt like I was never good enough, which led me down a dark path of self-harm and a suicide attempt. But the Lord saved me. He drew me out of the darkness and has been leading me to true freedom ever since.

Since 2012, I have been on 6 mission trips. The Lord has given me all of these opportunities, on top of knowing that my mission field is anywhere the Lord calls me. God truly began to change my life and my relationship with Him when I entered college and met friends who truly lived obedient lives for the Lord. It was so overwhelming and I knew that this is what God wanted for me: to be in community with other believers and not alone. What a blessing true, Godly community has been in my life!

I love the Lord so much and I am so thankful that He still uses broken people like me to bring the Good News! I can’t wait to be a part of this ministry and to see how the Lord uses it!
